What is CBD?
CBD sits at the top of the wellness world, but lots of folks wonder what it actually does and how to use it right since the info out there can be all over the place. Nature’s Ultra by Young Living steps in to help people feel sure and clued in when it comes to CBD and their products. The biggest questions about Nature’s Ultra products were gathered to crack the code on CBD and clear up the fog around it. Anyone wanting to learn how CBD might boost their health will find helpful answers here, making it worth taking a closer look to uncover more.
What is CBD?
When diving into the complexities of CBD, it’s always best to start with the basics: what is CBD? CBD is short for cannabidiol, a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. It is one of more than a hundred different cannabinoids that have been identified so far. Although cannabinoids were so named because they were first discovered in hemp, they have been found in many other biological systems. CBD has traditionally been used in oils, creams and ointments by people seeking to live a happy and healthy life.
It is important to note that although some people confuse CBD and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another cannabinoid in hemp, they are different. CBD is not psychoactive and does not cause the euphoric side effects commonly associated with THC. This means you can use CBD products without having to worry about any kind of reaction caused by THC.
How much CBD do I need?
In our Nature’s Ultra range, each of our products offer different intensities. A higher intensity has a higher concentration of CBD per dose than a lower intensity. For example, if you want to buy a CBD oil, you have two strengths: 500 mg and 1000 mg. A 500 mg strength contains approximately 16.66 mg of CBD in a full dropper (1 ml) and a 1000 mg strength contains approximately 33.33 mg of CBD per full dropper (1 ml). Everyone is different so it is important to find the strength that works best for you. We recommend starting with a low intensity and increasing it once you know how your body reacts.

It doesn’t matter if you have chosen a low or high intensity, our recommendations for use will be the same. For our CBD oils, use a dropper full (one milliliter of oil) and apply it to the desired area. In the case of our Muscle Balm and our Roll-On, apply generously as desired. Remember, it is best to start with a small amount and increase it as you become more familiar with your body’s reactions to the products.
Should I be careful when using CBD?
Whenever you use a new product, it is normal to want to know if there is a possibility of adverse effects. When using CBD oils pay attention to your body and how it reacts to the products and if you have any concerns consult a healthcare professional. It is also important to be aware of any medications you are using.
